Love the eucharist,humble and honest

He is a warm hearted person
who needs or loves his family and friends
who leads his own church well
who is fear of the father in heaven
who loves to see people follow jesus will.

summary of Chapter 2

Oliver is now in London. It was not what he expected. He is seeing the poor side of London. He met a friend named Dodger. Dodger introduced Oliver to Fagin who is a very kind man. He fed the poor boys.
Fagin taught his boys how to steal by playing games. Oliver was not aware that he is supposedly meant to go and steal.

St Francis retreat centre video.

St Francis retreat centre

When I got to St Francis retreat centre I was happy.  Our first activity was when we go and ask each other something they did the same as you.  We all had a turn to say something. Our second activity was Noah's ark.  We had to build an ark that can float we all had one rock on our boat, the rock represented the animals. My ark was floating, some of the arks were floating to.After that all the year 8 kids went to the chapel to pray to god. When all of us were in the chapel we all got a chance to light a candle it felt good lighting a candle and meeting new people like brother Philip and Lisi and Joan.It was night time and Siu, Rolland, Phoenix and I slept in the same room. The next day was boring because we were going back to school. We had our last feast together. Later me Daniel, Siu, Rolland and Siliva were singing outside. I really had fun. And I am looking forward to camp.

Rona and the moon

Once there lived a woman named Rona. She lived in a small little cottage in the woods with her three children. One night she woke up and her kids were crying. They wanted a drink. Rona went out in the dark to the lake to get some water.

She waked and walked and walked. She filled the pot water. On her way back, the moon went behind a cloud. Rona couldn’t see her way. She tripped and split the water.

Rona was furious with the moon. She yelled at the moon. “You stupid moon,” she cried. She kept on yelling at the moon.

The Big Moon did not like Rona shouting at him. He reached down and picked up Rona. Rona hold on to a tree but the moon was too strong. He took her and the tree up to the sky.

The children did not see their mother again. Rona can see them from the moon every night.

This week in maths I was learning how to put place value blocks.

First Time Taking My net-book Home


On Thursday the 23rd We had a meeting for the students with net books. This meeting is about “taking our net books home. I was very excited to take my net-book home. My Papa sign the paper. Then we went to Mrs G she took a photo and we went to room 7.I introduced my papa to miss Tui.I grab my net-book and went home.

talent quest

On Friday 19 August St Pius x school had a talent quest their were lots of people, family's and friend’s came to watch. Most people were nervous.
Some were sad and happy. Some children were proud to show the whole school their special talents.

My favorite performance were all of them
because they all did good.

Learning how to swim

I learned how to swim and float and do this stream lined. Me and my group played volley ball. We had a specialist come and gave us skills, her name was Miss Sammy.

My highlight about swimming was when I jumped into the pool. When I jumped into the pool I did a big bomb. Water splashed here, there and everywhere. I can’t wait for our next lesson.

Mary Mackilliop show

On Thursday our school had the privilege of seeing a play about Mary Mackillop in our school hall and why she became the first saint from New Zealand and Australian . Mary Mackillop was born in Australia and the Mackillop family was poor and need some food . Their was a man who's name was Scott and there was a girl who name was Julia where performed the play. I thought that Scott was funny and the crowd laughing at him and Mary Mackillop was played by Julie

Scott had riped clothes and Mary Mackillop told Scott to go to Saint Joseph home and they will help you and your family . When Scott came back he told Mary Mackillop that her sister died . Mary Mackillop want to go to see her sister and she need a ride a short distance to see her sister even though she was dead. She went to the place but there were people drinking in this place and a man , Kelly, and Mary Mackillop went to see her sister after she died.

Another part of the play told us about when Mary’s Dad was milking the cow and need to push the cows and seven people had to push this one cow and Scott told them your standing on the cow would work. After the helpers finished they sat back down and after an few more parts of the story it revealed that Mary was now a Saint . Many members of her family were happy that Mary Mackillop was a Saint. Even Mr Coakley had a part in the play as he had to throw a pillow to Scoot and to try and land on the billy cart.

Well I enjoyed the show and I now feel I know Mary Mackillop better.

In Integrated Topics we have been learning about sinking and floating.
We had a experiment about sinking and floating. I enjoyed it a lot.
